Private yoga with Leeza · Northern Virginia + Washington, D.C.
I bring calm, one-to-one yoga to your home and teach at a pace that makes room for questions, thoughtful adjustments, and the life you are actually living.

A note from Leeza

When I teach privately, I am not trying to make your body fit a predetermined sequence. I pay attention to how you move, explain what we are doing, and give you time to notice what feels useful.
I care about the details a busy class can move past—breathing, pelvic positioning, core support, and where a prop or smaller range makes the practice clearer. The goal is not spectacle. It is a practice that feels considered, useful, and yours.
Designed around real life
Learn without the pace, comparison, or visibility of a group studio.
Your teacher comes to you, so the practice fits more naturally into a full life.
Clear explanations and considered options help you explore each shape with confidence.
Start for the first time or return after a pause with support that meets you today.
The founding experience
Three private sessions over four weeks create space to explore what works for you and refine your practice with Leeza’s individual attention.

Meet Leeza
I have taught yoga since 2019. What matters most to me is helping you understand your practice—not asking you to copy a shape or keep pace with a room.
My advanced yoga study approaches 1,000 hours in total, including more than 600 completed and documented training hours through Modo Yoga, Modo Calm, Modo Flow, and Yin Yoga Levels 1 and 2. My teaching is also informed by a completed 40-hour CHEK Institute Integrated Movement Science Level 1 program in Holistic Corrective Exercise and Performance Coaching. Further advanced study is underway.
Students have described my teaching as warm, informative, and thoughtful. They value the explanations, options, and clear cues I bring to a practice. Those same qualities shape every private session I teach.

Good to know

A quiet, clear area with enough room for a yoga mat is a useful starting point. Leeza can bring a small teaching kit with blocks and a strap, and ordinary firm pillows can often provide additional support for an initial session.
Leeza teaches with calm pacing, clear explanations, thoughtful use of props, and approachable options. Her alignment-aware approach brings attention to breathing, pelvic positioning, core support, and coordinated pelvic-floor engagement and release.
